Tree-top lodges: Peacock’s Roost, Swallow’s Nook, and Robin’s Perch usually require a two-night minimum stay.

Pipit’s Hide, our spacious ground-floor lodge with private decking, is available for one-night bookings all year round.

Burrenmore Nest Lodges

Our luxury forest lodges: Peacock’s Roost, Swallow’s Nook, and Robin’s Perch offer a unique tree-top retreat with a private outdoor hot tub and access to a woodland sauna.

These cabins typically require a two-night minimum stay to preserve the peaceful guest experience.

Looking for a shorter stay? Our ground-floor lodge, Pipit’s Hide, is available year-round for one-night bookings and features its own private deck and forest views.

Explore Our Area

Step out beyond your lodge at Burrenmore Nest to enjoy 82 hectares of forest surrounding the site. Grab a hot drink at Sea Shed Coffee or Al's Coffee Hut. Take a 7 minute walk to visit Lion's Gate entrance to Mussenden Temple and explore the wider 100 acres of National Trust estate, free to public pedestrian access - including the Downhill Demense, the Black Glen and gardens at Bishop's Gate. Walk or drive to Downhill and Benone strand to enjoy miles upon miles of sweeping sandy beach or pop over to Castlerock for food, drink or surf.

Fancy an adventure? Walk a section of the Ulster Way, North Sperrins Way or the Ulster section of the International Appalachian Trail - all of which go right by Burrenmore Nest. Cycle the sustrans Route 93 of the National Cycle Network which runs alongside Burrenmore Nest and through the Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
